Technology touches
everyone, to some degree, in their personal, academic, and professional lives.
Embracing appropriate technologies to support this has become crucial in this
digital age. Of late schools have started heavily investing in technology. Many
people involved in education, from legislators to teachers to parents, as well
as the general public, want to know what technology exists in schools and how
that technology is being used. Topics include not only the availability of
equipment and software, but also technology needs, budget allocations,
Procurement and disposal, maintenance etc.
The experience of
pushing into various schools within the district and getting to use different
types of technologies in a heartbeat without prior knowledge played a great
role while coming up with this plan. It gave me a perspective of what to
prioritize within the plan. This plan plan provides a framework that addresses
the implementation, maintenance, and security protocols of classroom
technologies. The overall goal of this plan is the successful integration of
technology to support student learning and school management.
